The classes are taught by professional teachers from Hungary.
Márta Szigeti received her BA from Eötvös Loránd University Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Special Education. She is specialised in Learning Difficulties and Disabilities; Intellectual and Multiple Disabilities; Speech and Language Therapy. She started the Hungarian School in Vancouver in 2000 and since then she regularly teaches as an instructor of the Calvin Hungarian Educational Association. She teaches Hungarian reading and writing for children ages 6-8.

Tünde Szamosközi received her MA of Hungarian Language and Literature, MA of History as well as her Teaching Degree from the University of Szeged, Hungary. Since 2006 she has been actively involved with the Hungarian School in Vancouver, where her main focus is teaching Hungarian language, literature and history to children. She also teaches Hungarian as Second Language to children and adults at the Hungarian School and at other organizations such as the University of British Columbia and Berlitz Language Centre. In 2009 she became an examiner of ELTE ITK - Origo in Hungarian as a second language.

Maria Magdolna Kerekes has worked with young children and their families since 1997 as an Early Childhood Educator, as well as in supervisory positions for several Multicultural Early Childhood Programs. She holds an Early Childhood Education diploma, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Psychological Studies. At the present time she is a member of the Burnaby School District’s Strong Start team in a parenting advisory role, focusing on enhancing and strengthening parent-child relationships. During the last few years Magdi administered professional development sessions for Early Childhood Educators as requested by the Burnaby ECD Table. She teaches the kindergarden class at the Hungarian School since 2015.
